Ji Sung Taekwondo is the premier Taekwondo academy in Walnut Creek, California. Rooted in the true spirit of Taekwondo, our school is so much more than simply kicking and punching—we help every student develop personal success, confidence, discipline, and self-defense in a fun, supportive, and family-oriented environment for all ages and skill levels.

Our academy is led by Master Bo-Hyeon Kim, a 3-time World Taekwondo Champion (2006, 2007 & 2008), former member of the Korean National Team, and a member of the Kukkiwon Demonstration Team. With over 20 years of teaching high-level Taekwondo internationally, Master Kim has coached national teams around the world—including the Ecuador National Team, the Chinese National Team at the World University Games, and the UC Berkeley Taekwondo Team.

Through expert, certified instruction and a comprehensive curriculum, Ji Sung Taekwondo challenges students of every level to enhance their fitness, refine their technique, and build lasting character. From our Little Ji Sung classes for young children to our elite Team Ji Sung demonstration team, our mission is to help each student unleash their full potential—on the mat and in life.
